When you donate your vehicle to Vegas PBS, we'll turn the proceeds into ideas that educate, inform and inspire. Vegas PBS's vehicle donation program handles all of the details at no charge to you.

Just call toll-free 877-727-4483 or fill out our Vehicle Donation Form and a Vegas PBS representative will contact you.

We will schedule a pick-up that's convenient for you, and provide you with a tow receipt that confirms your name and the year, make, model, Vehicle Identification Number, mileage and condition of the vehicle you are donating at the time of pick-up.  We will also provide you with the necessary paperwork to file your release of liability with the DMV.

Once your vehicle has been sold, we will send you a receipt for your tax records. A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to Vegas PBS in your name.

Finally, as our way of saying thank you, you will receive a one-year complimentary Vegas PBS membership.

According to the tax law effective January 1, 2005, if the claimed value of a donated vehicle exceeds $500, the taxpayer is limited to the gross proceeds of the sale.

Our driver will issue a receipt at the time of pick-up. This is not your final tax receipt unless the sale of your vehicle does not exceed $500. This initial acknowledgement will indicate your name as well as the year, make, model and condition of the car you are donating. It will be your only receipt if your vehicle sells for less than $500.

An IRS Form 1098-C, Contributions of Motor Vehicles, Boats, and Airplanes will be mailed to you within 30 days of the sale stating the amount of gross proceeds received from your car, provided your vehicle sold for more than $500. This will be your tax receipt for your charitable contribution.
